THE GAUDIUM SCHOOL WINS SEASON 1 OF THE VARSITY FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Gaudium clinched the title in a hard-fought final, winning 11-10 in penalties, displaying resilience throughout regular time and penalties, and skill throughout the season. Their triumph was bolstered by exceptional performances from key players:

• Yash Bobba surged Gaudium forward punishing goalkeepers and defenders with an onslaught of goals, winning the Golden Boot Award. 

• Devarath a perfect Robin to Bobba’s batman, Devarath pitched in goals at the right moments when his team needed him, converting his penalty in the finals. 

• Shreyas while his teammates took care of the goal-scoring, Shreyas ensured that the ball never passed through the sticks. Shreyas was key in the penalty shootout, making several clutch stops to keep Gaudiums hopes alive along with making a penalty. Shreyas ended the season second in the Golden Glove Race.
